ABOUT
Hi! My name is Jaana. I'm a Finnish Karelian Canadian-born crafter. I specialize in high quality rag rugs hand crocheted from reclaimed cotton fabrics. I'm also an avid improv quilter and weaver. I love working with thoughtfully chosen reclaimed materials. I don't use commercial patterns--I design and create all my own products so that each item is truly one of a kind. My studio is located in an old piggery building (formerly The Piggery Gallery). I'm excited to welcome Katie's Schoolhouse to share studio space with me! You can buy the things we love to make by shopping in person at our pop up events. You can also find us at various shows and markets.
